I am a doctoral student, research and teaching assistant at Vanderbilt University's Department of Anthropology. My broader research interests include Environmental Anthropology, Andean Studies, Digital Humanities, Gender and Sexuality and the Anthropology of Religion. My multi-modal dissertation will examine the interplay of ecology, resource extraction and indigenous spiritual practice in the Lake Titicaca region of Peru, contextualizing the relationship between climate change and indigenous resistance movements. Regions of inquiry include Andean South America (PhD) and the Mesoamerican Highlands (MA).
