I am an art historian and a Russianist by training, and serve as the Associate Director for Research & Publications at H-Net and Managing Editor of H-Net Reviews.

In the past year, I helped launched two new initiatives: H-Podcast (networks.h-net.org/h-podcast), a network that features discussion and resources related to podcast production and the academic and pedagogic uses of podcasts, and hosts The Art of the Review and the No Sounds Are Forbidden podcasts; and the H-Net Book Channel (networks.h-net.org/h-net-book-channel), an academic book discovery service and magazine about new directions in academic publishing in the humanities and social sciences.

I'm interested in meeting HASTAC participants who want to talk about academic commons, digital publishing platforms, peer review, open access, and how to connect research with audiences without sacrificing rigor.
